UNLIKE THE REAL DEAL

UNLIKE THE REAL DEAL

It’s very unreal to say the least
But not uncommon that we repeat the history of those who put us in this world.

It is very unreal to see nature turn against its creator

Because there is no real deal
There is no perfection

Even nature is not perfect so how could I be?
But blood will crawl where it cannot run
And rest assured fake blood always runs thin.
I claimed the real deal from the gods who sardonically

Laughed away my accusations of divine abuse, after all I was only a puny human.

Me too I am not evil, as evil doesn’t like the real deal.

But deep down inside I can see my soul and heart battered and scarred, still yearning

To beat and crave childlike innocence.

Could it be?

I could not wish for my enemy to rot in hell or have his intestines incinerated.

For the enemy lives within all of us.

The enemy is the one thing in us that thrives on hate and doesn’t allow us to live and love; it is the lack of self-confidence, the lack of ability to forgive one another and oneself.

That is what seems unreal a deal.
